Vedanta delivered a landmark Q3 with record financial results. Profit After Tax surged 60% YoY to ₹7,807 Cr, and revenue climbed 19% YoY to ₹45,899 Cr. EBITDA reached an all-time high of ₹15,171 Cr, with margins expanding to 41%. This strong performance was driven by record production in Aluminium (alumina up 57% YoY, cast metal up 1% YoY) and Zinc India (mined metal up 4% YoY), both achieving lower costs. Zinc International production also jumped 28%, and Power sales increased 61%. Net Debt/EBITDA improved to 1.23x.

The company is focused on strategic capacity expansions across Aluminium (Lanjigarh) and Zinc International (Gamsberg Phase 2) and has strengthened its balance sheet through strategic debt reduction. Vedanta also acquired Incab Industries to boost downstream capabilities.

A major update is the NCLT approval for Vedanta's demerger into five specialized entities, a move anticipated to unlock long-term value.

Management emphasizes strong operational momentum and its "Vedanta 2.0 journey" towards growth and value creation. The positive credit rating outlook upgrades for its parent company by S&P, Moody’s & Fitch reflect growing market confidence.
