Shemaroo Entertainment's Q3 FY26 revenue dipped 2.2% YoY to INR 160.7 Cr, primarily due to a 14.4% decline in traditional media (INR 80.0 Cr). However, the digital media segment showed resilience, growing 13.8% YoY to INR 80.7 Cr. The traditional business faced challenges from major broadcasters re-entering FreeDish and softness in FMCG advertising.

The company is focused on strengthening its balance sheet and enhancing operational efficiencies to unlock long-term value. Digital growth initiatives include ShemarooMe Gujarati releasing 6 new titles, including digital movie premieres. YouTube channels continue to perform strongly, with Shemaroo FilmiGaane surpassing 74 million subscribers and the portfolio accumulating over 9.5 billion views.

For Q3 FY26, the company reported a net loss of INR (55.4) Cr and negative EBITDA of INR (67.4) Cr, resulting in an EPS of INR (20.28). The 9M FY26 revenue stood at INR 443.6 Cr, with a net loss of INR (146.5) Cr and an EPS of INR (53.60).

Management is cautiously optimistic about a gradual recovery in FMCG advertising spends. Margins are expected to remain under pressure due to ongoing accelerated inventory charge-offs, which are accounting adjustments and do not impact content monetization or free cash flow generation.
