SAIL delivered solid performance for Q3 & 9M FY26. Sales Turnover for 9M FY26 reached ₹79,425 Cr, with Profit After Tax (PAT) at ₹1,554 Cr. Q3 FY26 saw Sales Turnover climb to ₹27,170 Cr, with PAT significantly up at ₹442 Cr compared to ₹126 Cr in Q3 FY25.
Operational performance was strong. Crude Steel production hit 4.8 MT in Q3 FY26, and Total Sales volume rose to 5.1 MT, both up from last year. Efficiency improvements in techno-economic parameters like coke rate and blast furnace productivity contributed.
Key metrics include a 9M FY26 EPS of ₹3.76 and an EBITDA margin of 10.56%. Financial health improved, with the Debt-to-Equity ratio lowering to 0.44 as of Dec’25. Net Worth also increased to ₹56,236 Cr.
Looking ahead, global steel demand is set to grow 1.2% in 2025. India is a standout, projected to lead global steel demand growth at 8.5% in CY2025. With India's economy projected for robust 7.4% GDP growth in FY26, strong domestic demand for steel is expected, supporting SAIL's future prospects.
