    NHPC Limited — Important, 30-01-2026: Commencement of commercial production/operations

    NHPC has commissioned Unit 3 (250 MW) of its 2000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project in Assam/Arunachal Pradesh. This milestone means 2 units (500 MW total) are now operational, significantly boosting power generation capacity.
