Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited — PPTs, 02-02-2026: Investor Presentation
Utkarsh Small Finance Bank reported a net loss of ₹375 Cr for Q3 FY26 and ₹963 Cr for the nine months, impacted by market disruptions in the Microfinance (MFI) segment. Gross Loan Portfolio declined 3.9% YoY to ₹18,306 Cr, with JLG loans down 34.1% while Non-JLG loans grew robustly by 27.5%. Total Deposits rose 4.5% YoY to ₹21,087 Cr, boosted by a 23.8% surge in Retail Term Deposits. Asset quality weakened, with Gross NPAs at 11.0% and Net NPAs at 4.5%.
The bank is strategically shifting towards secured lending, growing segments like MSME, Housing, and Gold loans, alongside high-yield Micro LAP and MBBL. It's also expanding its retail deposit base. Recent highlights include a successful ₹950 Cr Rights Issue and expanding to over 1,100 banking outlets. Management acknowledges MFI sector challenges and has deliberately slowed JLG disbursements, focusing instead on strengthening collections.
