Lloyds Metals And Energy Limited — Pledging, 04-02-2026: Pledge/Unpledge
Lloyds Metals promoter, Crosslink Food and Farms Pvt Ltd, has pledged an additional 26,02,665 shares of the company. This 'top-up' pledge, made on January 23, 2026, was required because a decline in the market price of previously pledged shares caused the security cover to fall below the stipulated threshold.
Previously, on December 26, 2025, Crosslink Food and Farms had pledged 63,62,744 shares to Bajaj Finance, Jio Credit, and Tata Capital as security for a loan availed by Lloyds Enterprises Limited.
With this additional pledge, the total shares pledged by this promoter now amount to 89,65,409 equity shares, representing 1.64% of Lloyds Metals' total share capital. For investors, such top-up pledges due to price drops can signal increased leverage or put pressure on the promoter if prices decline further.
