Tata Power showcased resilient performance in Q3 FY26. Consolidated revenue for 9M FY26 edged up 1.2% to ₹47,719 Cr, though Q3 revenue saw a 4.2% dip to ₹14,485 Cr. Net profit (before exceptional items) for Q3 was largely flat at ₹1,194 Cr, while 9M profit decreased 5.3% to ₹3,702 Cr.

Growth was significantly driven by solar cell & module manufacturing, which saw Q3 revenue jump 26% and profits more than double due to better yields. The rooftop solar business achieved a record 1 GWp in 9M. Odisha DISCOMs delivered a strong 163% PAT surge in Q3, coupled with reduced AT&C losses.

The strategic focus on green energy continues, with 919 MW of utility-scale renewable projects commissioned, including 357 MW in-house capacity in Q3. Major international developments include the World Bank greenlighting financing for the 1,125 MW Dorjilung Hydro project and construction beginning on the 600 MW Khorlochhu HPP, both in Bhutan, under a 5,100 MW clean energy pact. EV charging infrastructure also saw continued expansion.

Net debt increased to ₹56,074 Cr, primarily due to ongoing capital expenditure. Management noted a comfortable debt position to support future sustainable growth initiatives.
