VRL Logistics' Q3 FY26 saw total income flat YoY at ₹831 Cr, but achieved a 3% QoQ growth, driven by new customer additions. While tonnage dipped YoY due to strategic exits from low-margin segments, it improved QoQ. Realisation per ton jumped 10% YoY to ₹8117. EBITDA rose 1% YoY to ₹174 Cr, with robust 20.9% margins (+20 bps YoY), and PAT climbed 9% YoY to ₹65 Cr. For 9M FY26, EBITDA surged 20% to ₹490 Cr and PAT jumped 52% to ₹165 Cr.

The company's strategy involves intensifying marketing for volume growth, strategic geographical expansion into untapped regions like North and Northeast, and assessing fleet additions of around 500 HCVs in CY26. Recent developments include Q3 FY26 capex of ₹74 Cr (with ₹56 Cr for land/buildings) and a significant net debt reduction to ₹272 Cr (Dec-25) from ₹470 Cr (Dec-24) due to strong cash generation. VRL also increased captive fuel pumps to 8 for better cost efficiency and declared an interim dividend of ₹5 per share. Management emphasizes stringent expense control and asset ownership for consistent service quality.
