Crompton's Q3 consolidated net sales rose 7.3% YoY to Rs. 1,898 Cr, marking a recovery. Profit before tax (excl. exceptional) climbed 3.2% to Rs. 156 Cr, and net profit (excl. exceptional) grew 3.6% to Rs. 116 Cr (EPS Rs. 1.53). Growth stemmed mainly from Electrical Consumer Durables (ECD), particularly pumps, and strong lighting. Butterfly kitchen appliances also gained momentum.

Future growth centers on "Crompton 2.0," emphasizing consumer-led innovation, premiumization, and digital integration. Strategies include expanding into new high-growth areas like Wires & Cables, solar solutions, mobile accessories, and strengthening core leadership.

Highlights include a smooth transition to new fan energy efficiency standards and a strong entry into solar rooftop solutions (Rs. 19 Cr revenue; Rs. 365 Cr orders in hand). Innovative products like Fluido BLDC Fans and the AirIQ chimney debuted. Crompton also earned a National Energy Conservation Award and Top 100 Innovative Company recognition.

Despite recent tepid demand, management sees tailwinds from government support for solar/energy efficiency, rising incomes, and growing consumer preference for premium, smart, sustainable products. Pricing adjustments are ongoing to manage commodity cost increases.
