Suraj Industries' board approved acquiring 56.25 lakh shares in VRV Foods for Rs. 37.13 Cr, making it a subsidiary. This move is set to boost the company's scale and profitability by strengthening its liquor business, leveraging VRV Foods' Rs. 122.90 Cr turnover as a key country liquor manufacturer. The board also greenlit a related party rent agreement and increased inter-corporate loan limits from 350 Cr to 500 Cr. All these key decisions, plus changes to the Rights Issue fund utilization plan, will go to shareholders for approval.
