Balrampur Chini Mills saw a strong Q3FY26. Revenue grew 21.97% to ₹1,454.12 Cr, with Profit Before Tax surging 92% to ₹171.06 Cr. EPS was ₹5.62.

The Sugar segment drove performance with higher realizations and increased crushing volumes (up 8.4%) despite rising cane prices. The Distillery segment delivered stable results due to higher volumes, though margins were impacted by unchanged ethanol prices.

A key focus is the Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) project, progressing well with ~₹1,421 Cr spent and commissioning targeted for Q3FY27. This 80,000 TPA plant is expected to add ~₹2,000 Cr in revenue at full capacity, backed by a favorable UP Bio Plastic Industrial Policy offering significant incentives. Bioyug initiatives are boosting market awareness for PLA.

Management emphasizes sustainable value creation by optimizing operations and leveraging diversified products. They highlight the need for ethanol price revisions for financial viability of juice and B-Heavy routes. The company's credit ratings remain strong at AA+/Stable.
