Britannia Industries delivered a solid Q3, with revenue climbing 9.5% year-on-year to Rs 4,885 Crore. Profit After Tax jumped 16.9% to Rs 680 Crore. For the nine months, revenue reached Rs 14,172 Crore (+7.7% YoY), and PAT was Rs 1,855 Crore (+14.6% YoY). Operating profit margin stood strong at 18.3% for the quarter. While milk, sugar, and flour costs increased, strategic covers helped manage overall input costs, as laminate, cocoa, and palm oil prices declined.
The company is actively driving strategic priorities, including elevating brand experiences through media campaigns for key products like Good Day ‘Crafted’ and Nutri Choice. Innovation remains a focus with new launches such as ‘Doodh’ Marie Gold and various brownie/layer cake variants. Adjacency businesses like Cake, Rusk, Croissant, and Wafers saw double-digit growth, significantly boosted by e-commerce. Progress on ESG includes reducing water consumption and increasing women in the factory workforce.
