Shalby's Q3 FY26 consolidated revenue saw a slight dip of 0.6% year-on-year to ₹279.4 Cr. While consolidated PBT decreased by 25.3% to ₹9.2 Cr, PAT showed a strong recovery, surging to ₹1.3 Cr from a previous loss.

The implant (MedTech) business was a key highlight, with revenue growing 29% year-on-year to ₹30.38 Cr, and EBITDA turning significantly positive from a loss. The standalone hospital business recorded ₹221.0 Cr revenue, a 2.6% decline, with PBT at ₹21.9 Cr. Average revenue per occupied bed (ARPOB) increased 1.1% to ₹43,171, despite a dip in surgeries and occupancy rates.

Strategic developments include expanding advanced robotic surgery systems across various specialties like Urology, Oncology, and Orthopedics. The company launched Kidney, Liver, and Bone Marrow Transplant services, performing 32 transplants this quarter, and received NABH accreditation for ambulance services.

Looking ahead, Shalby aims to maintain its leadership in joint replacements while diversifying into cardiac science, oncology, neuro-science, critical care, and transplants. Management focuses on leveraging technology for better patient outcomes, increasing occupancy in available bed capacity, prudent capital allocation, and global market expansion for the implant business.
