Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (ARE&M) posted Q3 FY26 consolidated revenue of INR 3,410.2 Cr, a 4.2% YoY rise. However, consolidated PAT fell 53% YoY to INR 140.2 Cr, primarily due to a one-time INR 47.6 Cr exceptional expense related to new labor code impacts. The lead-acid segment maintained operating margins despite input cost pressures.

**Growth & Strategy:** A major strategic thrust is the INR 9,500 Cr Giga Corridor in Telangana for new energy. The company plans a 5 GWh Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS) Giga factory with INR 280 Cr capex by end FY27/Q1 FY28, aiming at India's booming renewables market. R&D is also a focus, with E+ Energy Labs for Li-ion cells and battery packs, targeting 16 GWh cell capacity by FY30.

**Recent Highlights:** The New Energy Business achieved a milestone, crossing INR 200 Cr revenue this quarter, driven by over 250 MWh telecom pack supplies. Its lead-acid battery recycling plant's refinery operations started in Dec 2024, and the tubular plant is at full capacity. For 9M FY26, consolidated revenue grew 5% YoY to INR 10,278.3 Cr.
