NHPC reported Q3 FY'26 revenue of Rs. 2,221 Cr (down 3% YoY) and 9-month PAT of Rs. 2,306 Cr (up 7% YoY). Generation rose 15% to 25,849 MUs. The company commissioned two units of Subansiri Lower (2000 MW) and 300 MW Karnisar Solar. Expected FY'26 capacity addition is 2100 MW, with 2744 MW hydro and 1190 MW solar planned for FY'27. FY'27 CAPEX is guided at Rs. 15,000 Cr. NHPC is initiating 5-6 new projects (10,000 MW) and two pumped storage projects (~2000 MW) in FY'27, highlighting aggressive expansion in hydro and renewables. Management is confident on CERC tariff approvals for delayed projects.
