The company has terminated an agreement with PCS Securities Limited for transferring client demat accounts. This was due to non-fulfilment of KYC norms by certain clients, leading Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) to cancel the transfer. B N Rathi Securities has also withdrawn its proposal to acquire business, including client and trading accounts, from SVCM Securities Private Limited. SVCM Securities reconsidered and decided to operate independently. These developments mean the anticipated increase in client accounts from both initiatives will not proceed, though the company states the PCS agreement termination has no impact on its ongoing operations.
