Shahlon Silk Industries has secured Gujarat Pollution Control Board approval for its 5 MLD Common Effluent Treatment Plant (ZLD) and 2 MLD Water Treatment Plant near Surat. This ₹67.93 Cr project, expected by December 2026, will treat textile effluent and aims for an 85-90% reduction in groundwater consumption. The company has also applied for grant assistance. Furthermore, Shahlon has commenced planning for a 20 MLD CETP expansion at Tadkeshwar, with consultants engaged for the initial 10 MLD phase. This advances the company's sustainable development and environmental infrastructure goals.
