Bharat Wire Ropes (BWR) reported robust profit growth for Q3 FY26 and the nine months ending FY26, despite varied revenue trends. The company, a major steel wire ropes manufacturer exporting globally, saw Q3 PAT jump 22.1% YoY to ₹18.2 Cr on revenue of ₹142.8 Cr (-11.7% YoY). For 9M FY26, PAT grew 8.1% YoY to ₹56.0 Cr, with revenue at ₹449.1 Cr (+0.4% YoY). Diluted EPS for 9M was ₹8.16, up 7.5%.

BWR's strategy focuses on boosting profitability by shifting towards high-margin, value-added products, optimizing costs, and expanding its global reach. Recent positive developments include successful debt restructuring and ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency and productivity. Management noted that the focus on higher-value products is enhancing margins, even if it means lower tonnage volumes. The company aims for wider customer penetration and continued debt reduction.
