Regency Fincorp's board has announced it approved raising ₹75 Crore through private placement of 7500 Secured, Rated, Listed, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). The first tranche of ₹50 Crore will be issued with a 12-month and 5-day tenure and 14% monthly interest, secured by 1.25x asset cover. The board appointed Infomerics Valuation and Rating Limited as credit rating agency and Catalyst Trusteeship Limited as debenture trustee for these NCDs. Additionally, Mr. Kamal Kumar resigned as an Independent Director, and Mr. Sunil Jindal's directorship ceased due to disqualification from non-attendance. Mr. Sachin Garg, a seasoned banking and finance professional, was appointed as a new Non-Executive Independent Director.
