SpiceJet has noted a Supreme Court order upholding a direction for a security deposit of INR 144 Crore. This payment is a deposit held by the court during the company's appeal in a share transfer dispute. SpiceJet assures stakeholders of no impact on day-to-day operations, expressing confidence in receiving a potential refund of INR 449 Crore after the legal process. The company has already paid INR 730 Crore in this matter, and claims of over INR 1,300 Crore against SpiceJet were previously rejected. Additionally, SpiceJet's own refund claim is progressing favorably in the Delhi High Court.
