UltraTech Cement has acquired a 26% equity stake in AMPIN C&I Power Forty Four Private Limited for an investment of up to Rs. 15.12 Cr. This strategic move aims to secure green energy, optimize energy costs, and ensure compliance with captive power consumption regulations. AMPIN C&I Power Forty Four is developing a 45 MWp DC / 30 MW AC solar power project with battery storage in Odisha. This acquisition directly supports UltraTech's sustainability goals by meeting its green energy needs and enhancing operational efficiency.
