Cupid Breweries and Distilleries Limited's board has approved significant expansion moves. The company will acquire 100% of Rinpoche Spirits Private Limited (RSPL), a manufacturer of alcoholic spirits and distilled beverages with a revenue of ₹0.35 Cr as of March 2025 and a paid-up capital of ₹4.50 Cr. This acquisition, done via a share swap, aims to give Cupid complete control over manufacturing and boost shareholder value. In connection, the company will issue over 3.87 crore shares to RSPL shareholders and 6.51 lakh shares to Crochet Industries shareholders. Cupid also signed an MOU to purchase a large Alcobev production unit in Odisha and plans to open new branch offices across five states for business expansion.
