Dixon Technologies completed its joint venture with Longcheer Intelligence, securing a 74% stake in Dixtel Infocom Private Limited. Dixon invested INR 7.39 Cr, alongside Longcheer's INR 2.60 Cr. This strategic move aims to enhance Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) expertise and localize non-semiconductor sub-component manufacturing in India. Dixtel, which will manufacture smartphones, tablets, and various electronics, was previously Dixon's wholly-owned subsidiary. While Dixtel currently reports nil turnover and negative net worth of INR 1.89 lakhs, this JV is key to bolstering Dixon's product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities.
