Rajesh Power Services Ltd — Important, 06-03-2026: Company Update

Rajesh Power Services' wholly-owned subsidiary, Rajesh Power Projects Private Limited, has signed a Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreement (BESPA) with GUVNL. This 12-year agreement is for a 65 MW / 130 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Virpore, Gujarat. The project, awarded through competitive bidding with funding support, will operate at a contracted tariff of ₹0.0189 Cr per MW per month and is expected to be commissioned within 18 months. This marks Rajesh Power's formal entry into utility-scale battery storage, crucial for integrating renewable energy and enhancing grid stability.
