Bengal & Assam Company Limited's step-down subsidiary, JK Agri Research Services Limited (JKARSL), has allotted 50,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each for a total of Rs. 0.05 Cr in cash. These shares were issued to Sridharnath Research Limited (SRL), a fellow subsidiary and existing shareholder of JKARSL. This transaction significantly increases SRL's stake in JKARSL from 51% to 91.83%. This internal share allotment strengthens the ownership structure within the company's subsidiary network, consolidating control over JKARSL for better operational alignment.
