This decision stems from the discontinuation of LPG supply by BPCL, which is a primary feedstock for HOCL. The change occurred after the Government of India directed Public Sector Oil companies to supply LPG exclusively to domestic consumers, impacting industrial bulk supply. This disruption directly affects the plant's operations. However, the Hydrogen Peroxide plant at the same unit will continue operating as usual.
