Solarium Green Energy has commissioned its new 1 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This move implements the company's backward integration strategy, establishing a fully automated plant with an estimated capital expenditure of approximately ₹90 crore. The facility will produce high-efficiency G12 solar modules. This strategic commissioning is expected to strengthen Solarium's supply chain, reduce dependence on third-party suppliers, accelerate project execution, and enhance margins through captive consumption. It also positions Solarium as an integrated solar solutions provider. The plant has the potential to generate annual revenues exceeding ₹1,000 crore at 85% utilization, serving both internal and external B2B markets.
