GAIL acquired 49% equity in Leafiniti Bioenergy Private Limited (LBPL) for Rs. 13.54 Cr. LBPL operates a 10.2 TPD Compressed Bio Gas plant and reported Rs. 28.42 Cr turnover last year. This strengthens GAIL's presence in the bio-fuel sector and enables new CBG projects.
