Cargotrans Maritime's board has approved the formation of two new entities to expand its business. The company will establish Cargotrans Liquid & Bulk Agencies Private Limited as an 85% owned subsidiary and Alltrans Logitech Limited as a wholly-owned subsidiary. Both new companies will start with an initial paid-up capital of 0.01 Cr each. These subsidiaries will operate within Cargotrans' core shipping, liner, and logistics sectors, including water transportation services. This strategic expansion is aimed at broadening the company's operational reach, potentially into international markets, and strengthening its presence in the logistics industry.
