Bharti Airtel's subsidiary, Nxtra Data, secured a significant US$1 Billion investment in a funding round led by Alpha Wave Global and Carlyle, valuing Nxtra at US$3.1 Billion post-deal. Airtel will also infuse US$290 Million to retain a controlling stake. This capital infusion will fuel Nxtra's aggressive expansion of its AI-data center network across India, aiming to scale capacity to 1 GW.
