Terai Tea Company Limited has transferred its 47.73% shareholding in Terai Dooars Tea Co. Pvt Ltd to Mr. Uday Narayan Sharma for a consideration of INR 1.71 Cr. Following this transaction, completed on March 30, 2026, Terai Dooars Tea Co. Pvt Ltd is no longer an associate company. In the last financial year, the divested associate contributed INR 4.18 Cr (4.06%) to the company's turnover and INR 1.99 Cr (1.93%) to its net worth. The buyer is not related to the promoter group.
