Containe Technologies' Board has approved the forfeiture of 17,00,000 equity share warrants. This decision follows the warrant holders' failure to exercise their option to convert these warrants into equity shares within the stipulated 18-month period. Each warrant was issued at Rs. 86, with a 25% upfront payment made at allotment. The company will now retain the advance amount of Rs. 3.66 crore associated with these forfeited warrants, bolstering its funds and preventing the issuance of new shares that would have diluted existing shareholder value.
