Godawari Power & Ispat (GPIL) has increased its investment in wholly-owned subsidiary Godawari New Energy Private Ltd (GNEPL) by Rs. 50 Cr, acquiring 5 crore equity shares on a rights basis. This latest funding brings GPIL's total investment in GNEPL to Rs. 350 Cr, maintaining a 100% stake. GNEPL is establishing a 20 Gwh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) plant, marking a significant strategic expansion for GPIL into the crucial new energy storage sector. #GPIL #NewEnergy #BESS
