Subam Papers Limited's wholly-owned subsidiary has commenced commercial production of Kraft paper at its new manufacturing facility. This expansion significantly boosts the company's consolidated manufacturing capacity by approximately 70.97%, increasing it from 1,80,000 MTPA to 3,07,750 MTPA. The Kraft paper capacity alone has nearly doubled to 2,59,750 MTPA. The new plant can produce 80-120 GSM paper for the rapidly growing paper carry bag market, capitalizing on regulatory changes and high demand drivers. This strategic move positions the company for substantial revenue growth, improved margins, and enhanced competitiveness.
