Modi Naturals has approved the closure of its manufacturing unit in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, citing non-viable operations and aligning with its strategy to consolidate the bulk oil business. The company will sell the plant and machinery for Rs 0.63 Cr, while retaining the land and building. This unit contributed Rs 16 Cr (4% of standalone turnover) and Rs 0.90 Cr (0.81% of standalone net worth). The closure is not expected to materially impact overall operations as a nearby plant has spare capacity to absorb the processing volume.
