Ampvolts Limited will establish 17 high-capacity electric charging hubs across Western India, partnering with Cholamandalam Leasing Limited to power long-haul electric trucking. This initiative supports Montra Electric RHINO 5538 EV trucks, addressing critical charging infrastructure gaps for heavy-duty electric vehicles and making green freight movement commercially viable. The project aims to provide reliable charging, reduce range anxiety for fleet operators, enable corporate Scope-3 emission reductions, and avoid approximately 650,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually. It accelerates India's electric trucking transition, aligning with projected 55% CAGR growth and government support, including ₹10,900 crore under PM E-DRIVE and ₹500 crore e-truck subsidies.
