Ambuja Cements delivered a strong FY26, with consolidated cement sales volume jumping 16% YoY to 73.7 MnT, outperforming the industry. Revenue climbed 15% to ₹40,656 Cr. While Q4FY26 operating EBITDA dipped 22% YoY to ₹1,464 Cr (EBITDA/PMT ₹735) due to fuel cost inflation and supply chain issues, full-year FY26 EBITDA still rose 10% to ₹6,539 Cr. Normalized PAT increased 17% to ₹2,647 Cr for FY26.

The company is aggressively targeting cost optimization, aiming for a ₹150–200 PMT reduction in FY27 through fuel mix optimization, increased green power, and logistics efficiency. Digital initiatives like CiNOC are set to boost operations. Total cement capacity is now at 109 MTPA, with new units pushing it to ~119 MTPA in H1FY27. Mergers of Sanghi and Penna Cements are complete, while ACC and Orient Cement amalgamations are awaiting regulatory approvals. Ambuja remains debt-free with a healthy net worth of ₹71,846 Cr.

Management foresees soft demand growth of ~5% for FY27 due to potential weaker monsoon, inflation, and geopolitical tensions. However, the long-term outlook remains strong, driven by infrastructure and urbanization. The focus is on stabilizing new capacities and improving overall asset utilization from 77% to 85%.
