Fermenta Biotech Limited has informed shareholders about the mandatory transfer of equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). Equity shares with unclaimed dividends for seven consecutive years or more, starting with the 2018-19 final dividend, will be transferred. Shareholders must claim their unpaid dividends from the company or its R&T agents to prevent this transfer. Failure to act will result in shares and associated benefits moving to the IEPF Demat Account without further notice, impacting direct access to investments. These can later be reclaimed from the IEPF.
