Britannia reported solid financial results for the quarter and financial year ended 31st March, 2026. Q4 revenue grew 7.1% YoY to 4,686 Cr, with profit after tax jumping 21.1% to 678 Cr, achieving a 14.5% margin. For the full year, revenue hit 18,858 Cr, up 7.5%, and PAT rose 16.3% to 2,533 Cr, with a 13.4% margin. Commodity prices were mixed, but strategic covers helped manage input costs.

Growth drivers include booming E-commerce, which doubled its share in domestic business to 6%, with adjacency categories seeing 2.7x growth versus biscuits. The company is actively focusing on disciplined cost efficiency, achieving highest reductions across verticals, and localizing strategies for various Indian markets. Recent successes include strong double-digit growth in Wafers, Cake & Rusk, and Dairy (Ghee-fueled), plus the rapid success of new launches like 50-50 Cheeze & Caramel Dipped.

Management is addressing international business impacts from the West Asia conflict (supply disruptions, demand slowdown) with planned price increases from Q1’27, optimized sourcing, and accelerated cost-cutting. They're also evaluating alternate energy solutions for long-term stability.
