TMB delivered strong FY26 results with deposits growing 14.94% to ₹61,712 crore and advances up 20.32% to ₹53,379 crore. Net Profit (PAT) increased 13.10% to ₹1,338 crore. Strategic growth is driven by new ex-SBI leadership, a focus on rebuilding CASA, accelerating MSME lending through redesigned architecture, and expanding digitally and geographically with 60 new branches proposed for FY27. The bank opened 44 new branches in FY26 and bolstered its team with over 1,000 new hires.
Asset quality improved significantly with GNPA at a 10-year low of 0.73% and NNPA at 0.18%. Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) stands robust at 96.14%. FY26 Return on Assets (ROA) was 1.93% and Return on Equity (ROE) was 13.99%, with Q4FY26 metrics exceeding guidance.
Management highlights a "clear runway to justified rerating," projecting continued strong CASA growth (15%+), NIM expansion, and MSME growth (15-20%). The bank remains confident in managing risks.
