Graphite India has increased its stake in NYSE-listed GrafTech International Ltd., a key graphite electrode and petroleum needle coke manufacturer. The company invested an additional INR 62.25 Cr, bringing its total investment to INR 230.38 Cr. This boosts Graphite India's stake from 6.82% to 9.79%. The move is primarily for investment purposes, strengthening its presence in a crucial allied industry and potentially offering strategic benefits through exposure to GrafTech’s vertically integrated operations.
