Archean Chemical saw FY26 revenue grow 3% YoY to Rs. 1,108.0 Cr, though Q4FY26 revenue dipped 13% to Rs. 306.3 Cr, mainly due to moderation in the Industrial Salt business. FY26 consolidated Profit After Tax fell 35% to Rs. 105.4 Cr, with Q4 PAT at Rs. 12.2 Cr. Exports contributed a significant 78% but faced headwinds from geopolitical disruptions and higher freight costs. Industrial Salt revenue for FY26 increased 10%, while Bromine revenue declined 13% due to technical downtime.

A key strategic focus is the Semiconductor project. Its subsidiary, SiCSem, recently executed a Fiscal Support Agreement and held a groundbreaking ceremony for its integrated Silicon Carbide (SiC) fab in Odisha. Archean has also invested in the UK's Clas-SiC Wafer Fab for SiC technology and the USA's Offgrid Energy Labs for patented Zinc Bromide battery tech, with plans for an India giga-factory. Bromine Derivatives is targeting breakeven in FY27, supported by new product launches, and Specialty Mud Chemicals has commenced initial commercial operations. The board also recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share.

Management anticipates Bromine Derivatives reaching breakeven in FY27 and Sulphate of Potash making a meaningful contribution from H2FY27. The company is also expanding its brine fields to boost volumes and actively working to mitigate logistics challenges.
