Tata Motors has acquired an additional ~18% equity stake in logistics tech firm Freight Commerce Solutions Private Limited (Freight Tiger) for ₹95.66 Cr. This purchase boosts Tata Motors' total ownership to ~63.6% on a fully diluted basis, making Freight Tiger a subsidiary.
Freight Tiger offers cloud-based logistics solutions and a marketplace. This strategic move integrates Freight Tiger's technology with Tata Motors' 'Fleet Edge' platform, aiming to create an end-to-end digital ecosystem for the entire logistics value chain. Freight Tiger reported ₹26.7 Cr revenue in FY25.
