Sportking India (SPORTKING) is making strategic moves! The company approved acquiring a majority stake in Marvel Dyers & Processors Pvt Ltd, a fabric dyeing/finishing firm with recent annual turnovers around ₹55-64 Cr. This will boost market position and expand business operations.
Additionally, SPORTKING will acquire the manufacturing facilities of Sobhagia Sales Pvt Ltd (readymade garments, annual turnovers ~₹99-127 Cr) via slump sale. This aims to enhance manufacturing capabilities and improve operational efficiencies. Both deals, yet to be valued, promise significant synergies and long-term growth in the textile sector.
