Sarda Energy & Minerals delivered strong Q4 & FY26 results. FY26 consolidated revenue grew 23.1% to ₹5,928 Cr, with PAT up 58% to ₹1,109 Cr (EPS ₹31.38). The Energy segment became the primary earnings driver, contributing two-thirds of consolidated EBITDA, supported by record annual production across Thermal Power, Hydro, Coal, Iron Ore Pellets, Sponge Iron, and HB Wires. Q4 performance saw some impact from planned maintenance shutdowns.

The company is strategically transforming into a diversified energy and mining powerhouse, emphasizing vertical integration. A key focus is ambitious capacity expansion, targeting to double energy capacity and quadruple mining capacity by FY30. Recent notable updates include Supreme Court validation of the SKS Power acquisition, which operated at a 79% PLF with new long-term power purchase agreements.

SEML's standalone net debt-free balance sheet and strong liquidity position it well for future growth. The credit rating was upgraded to AA-/Positive, reflecting a positive outlook driven by sector tailwinds in energy security, coal gasification, and renewable energy. The company also declared its highest-ever dividend of ₹2.00 per share for FY26.
