NLC India posted a strong FY2026, with revenue up 14% YoY to ₹17,490 Cr and profit after tax (PAT) soaring 39% to ₹3,769 Cr. EPS reached ₹25.4, and the company proposed a 38.5% dividend. Capex also grew 18% to ₹9,131 Cr. Operational highlights included highest-ever coal production (19.14 MT), dispatch (17.69 MT), and green power generation (2.26 BU).
Strategically, NLC India is pivoting to become a diversified energy platform. Its subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), aims for 10,110 MW of renewable energy by 2030, with an IPO planned in FY2027. Recent developments include the start of coal production at Pachwara South and commissioning of a silica sand plant. NLCIL also successfully bid for critical mineral blocks and is venturing into battery storage, green hydrogen, and EV charging.
Management envisions a balanced 20,130 MW integrated energy platform by 2030. A massive ₹1.01 Lakh Crore capex plan is underway, prioritizing green energy (₹33,048 Cr) and thermal projects (₹44,452 Cr). The company targets significant CO2 emission offsets, aligning with India's green goals.
