Tilaknagar Industries has significantly expanded its spirits portfolio. It completed the acquisition of the Imperial Blue business division from Pernod Ricard India for ₹3,442 Cr cash, plus ₹290 Cr deferred payment. This strategic move enhances TIL's scale, market position, and growth ambitions, adding popular brands like Imperial Black and Imperial Red. Further, TIL plans a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary in Nigeria with an investment of up to ₹30 Cr to directly manufacture, import, and sell Imperial Blue, marking a key geographic expansion for the brand.
