Bata India reported Q4 FY26 revenue of ₹827.6 Cr, up 5.1% YoY, with volumes growing 2.8%. Cash from operations surged 18.3% to ₹132.2 Cr. Premium brands like HP and Power, along with Distribution & I&D, and Franchise & SIS channels, delivered strong growth.

Strategic focus includes expanding digital reach (eCommerce up mid-twenties, Bata.com up 81%) and distribution to 1,660 towns via 15,000+ MBOs. Inventory management improved significantly, with stock reduced by 28% and availability up +950 bps. The company is reimagining its product funnel to streamline offerings.

Bata expanded its retail presence nationwide to ~2000 stores. Recent campaigns like Victoria Ballerina and HP Office Sneakers are creating impact and boosting brand consideration.

Gross margin declined by 242 bps, and PBT (before exceptional items) was 6.5%, down 103 bps YoY, partly due to increased advertising spend (1.5X YoY) and a VRS impact cost of ₹28.1 Cr. Management is committed to customer-driven, profitable growth, with key initiatives like 'Customer First Project' on track and a continued focus on premium product traction.
