six months, marking one

(SPJIMR), Mumbai, has

released its Indian SME

Family Business Trade

Confidence and Interna-

tionalisation Report, a

comprehensive study of

export confidence among

India’s SME family busi-

nesses.

Conducted in partner-

ship with Hansa Re-

search, the survey drew

on 461 responses from

owner-managers, direc-

tors, CEOs, and senior

leaders of Indian SME

family businesses active-

ly engaged in internation-

al trade. Respondents

represented 14 cities —

from Ludhiana to Hyder-

abad and Jaipur to Kolk-

ata — spanning every

business-size category,

every generational stage,

and major industry, from

manufacturing to trading.

On average, these firms

have been exporting for

16.4 years, with 82% re-

porting more than a de-

cade of international trad-

ing experience.

The report is the first

of its kind to deploy a four-

index architecture that

measures trade confi-

dence holistically, sepa-

rating forward-looking op-

timism from current risk

burden, risk trajectory,

and family governance

tensions, before combin-

ing them into a single Net

Trade Confidence Score

(NTCS).

The 17.9-point gap be-

HSBC MF launches RedHex Hybrid

Long-Short Fund (SIF)

Mumbai, HSBC Mutual Fund has launched Red-

Hex Hybrid Long-Short Fund, a Specialised Invest-

ment Fund (SIF) strategy designed for investors

seeking regular returns and capital appreciation.

The strategy combines investments across asset

classes - fixed income, equity arbitrage, REIT and

INVIT units to pursue risk adjusted returns across

market cycles. The New Fund Offer (NFO) will be

open from 2 June 2026 to 16 June 2026.

SIFs were introduced to bridge the gap between

traditional mutual funds and higher-ticket products

like Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and Al-

ternative Investment Funds (AIFs). RedHex Hybrid

Long-Short Fund offers an intermediate investment

that combines the regulatory transparency of mu-

tual funds with portfolio flexibility. The product is

suited for ‘mid-ticket’ investors, with a minimum

application of Rs. 10,00,000 (Rs. 1,00,000 for Ac-
