Paradeep Parivahan Ltd — Important, 17-06-2026: Company Update

Paradeep Parivahan Limited (PPL) and Energy In Motion (EIM) have started deploying about 45 electric heavy-duty tractor trailers for UltraTech Cement. These 55-tonne EIM Ashwa 4x2 vehicles will move clinker from Rajasthan to Delhi-NCR, covering approximately 250 km. This marks a major stride for zero-emission long-haul freight in India's cement sector, proving electric trucks' commercial viability for demanding logistics. The initiative is projected to cut over 8,900 tons of CO2 emissions annually and displace about 2.9 million litres of diesel, advancing sustainability and carbon reduction. This collaboration establishes a new benchmark for green transportation.
